Salvage Glass from Windows
Break windows in abandoned buildings using Rock Smash. You can find buildings with windows in Bleak Beach and Sparkling Skylands. This method provides limited quantities.
Craft Glass at the Furnace
The smelting furnace is inside the Rocky Ridges mines. Magmar waits there and can help you operate it.
Gather Raw Materials
Use any of these resources to make Glass:
- Sand — Collect from beach areas
- Volcanic Ash — Use Rollout to break ash blocks in Rocky Ridges
- Sandstone — Mine from rocky areas
Smelt the Glass
- Go to the furnace in Rocky Ridges mines
- Add Sand, Volcanic Ash, or Sandstone
- Bring a Burn specialty Pokemon to ignite the furnace
- Wait for processing to complete
- Collect your Glass
Burn specialty Pokemon include Charmander, Growlithe, Torkoal, Torchic, and Magmar. Since Magmar lives at the furnace, you can use him immediately.
Glass Recipes
Glass is essential for mirror-based recipes and habitat restoration. The Sparkling Skylands Pokemon Center requires 25 Glass to rebuild.
