Wheat is used to cook bread, which powers up the Cut move. You can harvest it or grow it from seeds.
Find Wild Wheat
Wheat grows south of the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center. Reach “Great” Pokedex rank to access this zone.
Head past the Pokemon Center and south up a few blocks. You can harvest around 12 Wheat here. Half is ready immediately. For the rest, move the nearby Sprinkler to the unwatered plants or water them manually.
Grow Wheat from Seeds
Unlock Wheat Seeds
Reach Environment Level 3 in Rocky Ridges. Wheat Seeds then appear in the Shop for 50 Life Coins (5 bags).
Plant and Harvest
- Use the Rototiller to prepare soil near water
- Plant the seeds
- Place a Sprinkler nearby to speed growth
- Optionally bring a Growth specialty Pokemon to reduce grow time
- Harvest when ready

Cook Bread
Learn the bread recipe from Torkoal. Use a Bread Oven with Wheat as the first ingredient, then add any other ingredients.
Eating bread powers up the Cut move. This lets you cut through metal fences.
