The “Yawn Up a Storm” request requires raising humidity to 100 in Withered Wasteland. This makes Slowpoke yawn a 100-point yawn.
Step 1: Water Dry Tiles
Use Water Gun to spray the ground tiles throughout Withered Wasteland. Cover as many tiles as possible.
Step 2: Place Horsea Fountains
- Head northwest from the Pokemon Center
- Break the shiny rock to reveal water
- Buy 2 Horsea Fountains from the Shop
- Place one fountain in the water
- Break surrounding blocks to expand the water area
- Place the second fountain in any water
Step 3: Create Field of Flowers Habitats
Talk to Bulbasaur about humidity. He explains Field of Flowers habitats.
- Buy Wildflower Seeds from the Shop
- Ask Bulbasaur to follow you
- Place seeds in different areas
- Have Bulbasaur grow them
Each Field of Flowers increases humidity.
Step 4: Create Hydrated Tall Grass Habitat
Talk to Squirtle about humidity. He explains Hydrated Tall Grass habitats.
- Place 4 tall grass along any water’s edge
- Talk to Squirtle again
- Lead him to the habitat and set it as his home
This raises Squirtle’s comfort and increases humidity.
Step 5: Create Rain Dance Site Habitat
Talk to Squirtle and Professor Tangrowth for hints. You need:
- 2 Castform Weather Charms (find near Tangrowth’s bed in the cave, or buy from Shop)
- 1 Wooden Plate (craft with 1 Lumber)
- 1 Leppa Berry
Place everything on a wall: both charms, the plate, and the berry on the plate.
Bring Squirtle to the habitat. He eats the berry and performs the rain dance.
Complete the Request
Talk to Slowpoke and ask him to yawn. If humidity is 100, he yawns a 100-point yawn.
Still low? Water more tiles or create more Field of Flowers habitats.
